Vascular & Transplant Specialists Turn to SRS Software, Inc. for Digital Chart Solutions

MONTVALE, NJ, February 24, 2005 - SRS Software, Inc. today announced that Vascular & Transplant Specialists (VTS), the largest vascular surgery group in the United States, has contracted for SRS' Freedom Chart Manager™. All 15 surgeons, as well as professional and administrative support staff in the group's seven locations in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina, will be using SRS' enterprise digital chart management and workflow solution.

"The size and scope of our surgical practice were significant factors in our decision to move to a paperless environment with SRS," states Marc Glickman, MD, VTS' president and managing director. "Since teamwork, availability and communication are key aspects of our practice, we needed a proven electronic solution that could give us immediate, universal access to all pertinent patient clinical data. For the best return on our investment, the software also had to be affordable and easily learned and used by all VTS staff," continues Dr. Glickman.

Against the national backdrop of a 50 percent failure rate for EMRs, SRS has established an industry benchmark of success with the onset of its fifth consecutive year without a de-installation.

"Our 100 percent successful implementation and provider acceptance of Freedom Chart Manager™ offer proof positive that SRS delivers on its promises," asserts Evan Steele, SRS' CEO. "Where others fail, SRS succeeds. Price, ease-of-use, and cost savings distinguish SRS from its competitors."

Three key elements support broad provider acceptance of SRS and underscore SRS' ongoing success: minimal training, no data entry and ubiquitous access. An independently documented 20-minute training period per provider substantiates the product's ease of learning and user friendly format. Employing powerful document imaging technology, SRS Freedom Chart Manager™ requires no data entry from physicians and staff. Additionally, SRS' digitized paperless charts, including doctor notes, medication refills and lab results, can be securely accessed remotely by providers 24/7/365.

SRS markets its Freedom Chart Manager™ solution to ambulatory and hospital-based enterprises nationwide.
