Press ReleaseOrthoMaryland Implements SRS Software Enterprise Digital Chart Management SolutionMONTVALE, NJ / BALTIMORE, MD – February 15, 2007 In an era of positive changes for OrthoMaryland that include the opening of two new facilities, a surgery center and the adoption of a PACS digital imaging system, the 17-physician practice selected the award-winning SRS Chart Manager™ as a direct route to establishing a paperless enterprise. “Our busy musculoskeletal practice, which handles 175,000 patient charts, was hurling rapidly toward opening two new sites, introducing additional capabilities, creating five comprehensive centers of excellence and changing our name to OrthoMaryland — all simultaneously and with the same due date,” says James Demopoulos, MHA, CEO, OrthoMaryland. “In the midst of this, we decided to go paperless and chose SRS after an exhaustive two-year review of the alternatives.
